Fulfillment update, 75% done

Hi all!

I have an update regarding the US-based fulfillment, which is covering US, CA, AU, Asia and all the rest of the countries outside the European continent.

They packed and shipped 75% of the parcels. Today and tomorrow they work on the remaining packages (approx 500).

The tracking numbers will be sent via email to everybody most likely on saturday, when they will be uploaded to Backerkit. They have to upload them all at once.

I do not have any tracking number at the moment.

Important info about fulfillment

Tracking numbers:

Once uploaded, you will get the tracking number via email from BACKERKIT.

Keep an eye to the spam/junk folder.

The status might be pending for a few days because the packages have to be picked up and reach the next facility which is scanning again and will forward the parcels to destination.

International parcels (CA-AU-CN and all the others) as always take longer for obvious reasons.

Carriers are USPS, DHL, UPS, depending by size, weight, and destination.

Uncut Sheets

They are shipped separately in a tube and with their own tracking number. The tracking number is not communicated via email because of platform limit (Backerkit). Just wait patiently, it should take more or less the same time as the main parcel.

Badly damaged package?

Sometimes it happens that the postal service treats the package with no respect. If your package arrives very damaged please take a picture of the carton and the content and see if the decks arrived safe or completely smashed/crushed/damaged.

Then contact me here on kickstarter using the "contact project creator" way.

Do not write a comment because it does not help and you waste time.

Issues with the items?

Contact me via kickstarter. Please do not use facebook, instagram or other platform. Most of the people use a different nickname for each platform so you understand how impossible is to assist if I have no idea who is inquiring.

Claims

I will not accept any kind of claim 90 days after the shipping date for both domestic and international parcels. I will assist as much as I can for any issue related to the shipment in this time frame. This because tracking numbers expire after a while and it gets impossible to trace or understand where the package went.

Leftover going for sale on my shop

I will sell the leftover on my shop and will announce the release date once I decide it with a kickstarter post and via my newsletter. This time I will set purchase limits for specific items (new function that was not available before).

Quest/puzzle

I know I said it would be in this update, but I just wait that all the packages are shipped. After that, I write an update only for the quest.

US-based Fulfillment started | important info | Intrepid deck

Hi all!

I talked to GW and they started fulfillment today. This means that today they start printing the labels and started packing 1610 parcels. 

They told me it will take approx a week, so next week on thursday in theory this fulfillment is done and all the packages are shipped out. It is not a job that can be done quickly and the lucky ones will get it first, and some other will be the last one of the list.

GW (Gamblers Warehouse) is located in Texas, USA.

Tracking numbers

Once the label is scanned, you will get the tracking number via email from BACKERKIT.

Quest/Puzzle

in the next update we start. I will publish the instructions and the deadline.

There will be plenty of time and no hints will be given.

Eye of the Ocean - Intrepid

This is a variant that does not belong to Kickstarter and was made  for my 2021 patrons on Patreon after the kickstarter campaign was over.

Actually there are 2 variants sharing the same tuckbox design:

•  Intrepid LTD 333 for Patrons, with numbered and signed seal, and cards with printed edges.
•  Intrepid Regular (no seal, no printed edges, see pictures)

The faces are the same as Solis, Lunæ, Astra Polaris, with a couple of differences (background, extra cards). The cards are printed by Cartamundi of course. Approx 2000 produced.

It will go for sale on my online shop together with the leftover of this campaign. Finally I managed to install a script/app that allows to control purchase limits per customers and a few limited items will have this limitation.

Example: leftover of the books will be available max one per customer.

RELEASE DATE WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON KICKSTARTER

Fulfillment Update

Hi all!

quick update from mobile about fulfillment while I am out of town.

EU+UK+Europe (from Germany)

Looks like that almost everything was shipped out and I saw many packages already arrived, especially in Germany.

Uncut sheets are shipped separately in a tube.

I do not have the tracking numbers at the moment, but you have your email from DEALLEZ with the tracking number of the main package. Check the previous update in case you have questions/issues about the shipment and contact Deallez. If you contact me you have to wait an extra week because I am not in town at the moment.

US+CA+AU+Asia+Rest of the world

Finally the decks arrived today at the fulfillment center in Texas with 30+ days delay.

I spoke with them and they sheduled fulfillment after Easter. They need to count and inspect all the cartons first. They should start in the middle of the next week.

Tubes with uncut sheets are shipped separately.

The tracking number of the main package arrives via email from BACKERKIT.

Late backers

Those few backers (around 7) who completed the survey too late will have to wait 2 or 3 more weeks. Sorry but you could wake up a little earlier after my countless reminders and requests. These will be processed manually after the main fulfillment is complete.

Russia and Belarus

Shipped from Germany, hopefully they will arrive unless they are blocked by your customs. It will take longer than usual.

Fulfillment update, Lottery, Quest and other

Hi all!

I have some news about the filfillment from both locations. It is happening!

EU+UK+EUROPE 

Many packages have been shipped out, and many others are going to be shipped out today, tomorrow, and on Friday. 

Tracking numbers will be given via email from DEALLEZ. 

Transit time depends by destination country. 

US AND REST OF THE WORLD

You guys have to wait a bit longer. 

The decks have been cleared by customs last week, and heading Gamblers Warehouse (a.k.a. GW). I do not have more info about arrival dates.

GW has all the instructions, all the addresses, and the bill is already paid, so they will start the fulfillment as soon as possible.

I will write another update as soon as I have news.

Important Notes about the items

BOOKS: they are packed in a white box. The leather cover is separated from the book but you can assemble it. Be careful when you do it, because inserting the front and back cover in the leather pockets might be a bit difficult, it is a little tight. Do not force them!  

GILDED DECKS: remember the gilding was made by hand+machine (that's why it took ages) and there might be some imperfections. 

 LOTTERY (Surprise)

If you are lucky and you find the red XVII sigil stamped on the number, you won a Quartermaster deck.

The lucky decks are the following:

• LUNÆ: #0555 of 1600
• SOLIS: #0999 of 1600
• ASTRA POLARIS LTD: #333 of 555

The lucky backer has to  contact me via kickstarter and instructions will follow.

Quest/Puzzle

Instructions will be given after the US fulfillment is completed.

Easter Vacation, taking a break

I will not be able to promptly reply to all the inquiries about shipping and tracking numbers because I will be out of town for 12 days, starting from tomorrow.

I will be able to write updates from mobile in case I need to.

Fulflillment Schedule and Quest/puzzle preliminary info

Hello everybody,

I have news about the fulfillment schedule. As you know the rewards are shipped from 2 fulfillment centers:

• FROM TEXAS: USA, Canada, Asia, Australia, Rest of the world
• FROM GERMANY: EU, UK, countries in Europe or near Europe (such as Israel, Russia, etc)

Meanwhile, this is the status and in theory the decks should arrive at the fulfillment center next week. The ship is about to dock in Houston (TX) today.

FULFILLMENT FROM TEXAS

• All addresses submitted and locked
• Fulfillment fees paid
• Ready to fulfill when the decks arrive
• Be aware that packing 1600 parcels will take some time

FULFILLMENT FROM GERMANY

• All addresses submitted and locked
• Fulfillment fees paid
• Fulfillment in progress (packing)
• Shippin-out:  5th of April 
• Backers will get a mail notification from Deallez with the tracking number.

Quest/Puzzle

The backers with the book and Solis+Lunæ decks are eligible to try solving the quest/puzzle I planned. you cannot solve it.

I will publish here the instructions when the time comes (after all parcels are shipped out), and there will be plenty of time for everybody interested in this. 

There is no first come first serve, but at one point there is a deadline and a raffle among those who solve it.

No hints will be given unless I have zero correct entries.

Just wait for instructions! :)

About my online shop

There will be a leftover and what I have in stock after fulfillment will go for sale on my webshop 

Some retailers will have decks as well, not the other items.

OFF TOPIC: if you like frogs and playing cards, check the latest release at $9.90/deck. it expires tomorrow 29/3/2022.
